So, you won't believe what we did last weekend! We had our first-ever pepper fundraiser at the market. It was such a blast! After living in Eugene for over 20 years, it was so exciting to finally have a booth at the market. And guess what? We were in my favorite part, the "renegade market"! LOL! But seriously, all the vendors are now officially allowed, and they're a great addition to the overall market experience.

It had been a while since I'd been out selling in public and actively participated in a community marketplace. Many of our friends will remember the days of Haley's Comet, our festival food booth. That definitely made us want to do something like that again. Our love for cooking and providing healthy food for the community at large events never goes away.
Our first day was amazing! We had a great neighbor, Gary of Portable Drums and a DJ, who played awesome music all day. Garys Portable Drums are a true work of art, craftsmanship, sound great and are uhhh portable LOL! Across from us was The Copper Kitten, a vendor with all sorts of cool stuff, especially earrings that my wife and daughter love to check out every time we go to the market.
Gary of Portable Drums!
And let me tell you, the people we met were fantastic! I can't wait to see them again and have more Saturday fun with them. The sun wasn't out, but the good vibes definitely were!
A big thanks to everyone who talked to us about peppers, Paper Racket's goals, and supported our fundraiser. If you ever have any garden questions or want to chat about music and events, please don't hesitate to reach out. We'd love to hear from you!
